Meeting the WFTO-Asia President in Nepal

We are very happy that the Chairman of Hathay Bunano ps, the non-profit organisation making the Pebble toys you all love so much, met with the President of the World Fair Trade Organisation – Asia in Nepal this week. Chitra, the President of WFTO-Asia, has his own organisation New Sadle (http://www.newsadle.org.np/index.php) which works tirelessly to rehabilitate sufferers of Leprosy and to engage them in income generating activities. It’s really worthwhile work and we wish Chitra continued success to help these people in Nepal. As you can see from the picture Morshed had a lovely time visiting the New Sadle head office on top of a mountain just outside Kathmandu.
